Deep Tissue Massage:

True, authentic deep tissue massage is a deeply relaxing experience working muscles from end to end with ever increasing pressure with each pass through the muscle belly. It does, however, require some client participation…through slight movement of the target muscle the massage practitioner is gently drawn through the muscle belly creating an ease in coaxing muscle tissue open to the deepest levels without injury or bruising.

Myofascial Release:

When fascial tissue binds and contracts there is a true battle of the wills that occurs between soft tissue and bone. Myofascial release is a strategic defense in this battle, through long held consistent stretching, sometimes requiring manual techniques as well, of the fascial layers the massage practitioner will encourage your body to reeducate itself and release old or new holding patterns that bind and restrict normal activity levels.
